Installation and Use of Melt Pump

1. Packing of melt pumps should be carefully opened and carefully checked. If there is any damage or missing parts, please contact our company immediately. This pump is made of superalloy steel, all parts are heat treated with high hardness, so the material is more brittle and belongs to precision equipment. Any impact or fall may cause serious damage. It is recommended to install the suspension ring.

2. When installing, please accurately judge the inlet and outlet of the melt pump. Pump shaft is clockwise when installed correctly. When installing motors, reducers, universal couplings and pumps, the base of the pump must be fixed to ensure the concentricity of the pump seat and the motor drive shaft. There must be no sticking when rotating, otherwise, the gear jam will be caused, and the transmission shaft will be broken in serious cases.

3. There are pressure sensor holes and temperature sensor holes on the surface of the pump body. If the sensor is installed correctly, otherwise the measurement data will be deviated. High strength (12, 9) bolt connection is adopted at the pump body connection to ensure the safe operation of the pump body.

4. When starting the pump, it should run at low speed. After stable operation, the melt pump can gradually adjust to normal speed and pressure. If the pump rotates unsteadily, the pump must be stopped to check the cause, in order to avoid serious damage to the pump interior. If the packing seal is used, the position of the sealing cover is often adjusted so that the sealing condition is always in good condition.
